Relax and enjoy a day at beautiful Saturday Beach without the hassle of navigating the bay. Sandy Shores Charter provides safe, reliable transportation from Froggies Bait Dock to Saturday Beach.
Duration: 30 minutes one-way. Up to 4 hours at the beach, please coordinate with Mindy if you plan to stay longer.

Take a scenic boat ride to view the historic Matagorda Island Lighthouse. The lighthouse is 3 miles (6 round trip) from the drop off location to the historic lighthouse. Please designate pickup time from Froggies Bait Dock.

Sandy Shores Charter is a US Coast Guard–licensed boat charter service based in Port O’Connor, Texas, operated by Captain Mindy. Sandy Shores Charter specializes in beach drop-offs and pick-ups to Saturday Beach, Lighthouse Charters, and Dolphin Cruises.
Mindy has roots in North Texas but a lifelong connection to Port O’Connor, where her family often visited during her childhood. She pursued her undergraduate at Texas Christian University and her masters at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She eventually made Port O’Connor her permanent home in 2024.
